Have you been thinking about putting in a fiberglass pool and wondering what the differences between manufacturers? Let’s begin by talking about the manufacturing process.
Dolphin Fiberglass Pools are made according to the ANSI/NSPI standards for Flexural Modulus, Flexural Strength and Shear Strength.
They use the highest quality gel coat available in the industry. After the Gel coat layer, a skin coat layer of the finest Vinyl Ester Resin reinforced with fiberglass is used. Once the Vinyl Ester layer is completed they apply two layers of fiberglass, hand laid 24oz Woven Roving, with layers of chopped strand and their specially formulated resin in between. This is a precise, hand applied application to ensure the very best pool every time. In some of the models they also apply a bi-axel/tri-axel knit fabric.
Dolphin Fiberglass Pools never us fillers in their process to ensure that the resin and fiberglass knit together as they are chemically designed to do. There are numerous quality checks in place throughout all stages of the manufacturing process to not only comply with the various standards but to bring you only the very best pool in the industry today. By using no fillers in their process and using only the very highest quality materials, they can produce a stunning pool.
Knapp’s Pools and Hot Tubs spent considerable time, research and talking with manufacturers and deliberately choose Dolphin Fiberglass Pools as the pool they support and recommend. Lori from Knapp’s Pools states “We believe it’s our duty to to the research so that our clients can have faith that they are getting the very best available on the market today.”
