If you are in the market for a pool and are wondering about the differences in concrete, vinyl lined and fiberglass pools there is a big difference.
As far as price goes vinyl lined pools are the less expensive because you have to do work down the road in maintenance costs such as replacing a liner etc.
Fiberglass pools are about 10% more than vinyl lined. I like to tell my clients that they will be the cost of your first liner replacement, however once that inital 10% is paid you never have to worry about your pool. Fiberglass also is installed way quicker, meaning you will be swimming much quicker and they are smooth and sleek to the touch.
Concrete pools are the most expensive. The benefit is that you can make them as big or as small as you want. They are very custom however you pay for it.
Please don’t go out and ask for quotes on each style of pool. Decide which pool is going to work for your family and then go get pricing. You don’t go out an price a Cadillac if you know it’s not in your budget, don’t do that with your pool.
