It’s that time of year when hot tubs get used more frequently.  Before the snow flies it’s a good time to do some preliminary hot tub maintenance.

Make sure everything is operating efficiently.  Check your keypad, listen to your pump to ensure that it isn’t making any different noises and check that hot tub is maintaining heat properly.

Consider when you need to do a fresh fill.  I like to do a fill in mid/late November so that it takes me into March before a fresh fill is once again required.

Check your filters to see if they need to be replaced.  Filters have a job to do and that it to clean the water you soak in.  Dirty filters can prohibit or slow water down which compromises the heaters ability to properly heat your water.  Also filters last up to 2 years with proper maintenance.  Give us a call to replace those old filters.  We try to stock many various models/sizes.
