Marketing is such a complex decision. What works for one company does not necessarily work for another.
I ask myself, in small business when every dollar counts how do you decide where to spend the money. Our times are changing and what worked 5 or 10 years ago does not apply to today.
What I know is I have to focus on technology and consistency. These two things ultimately work. Therefore I will continue to invest marketing $$ in technology and be open to suggestions from the professionals on the consistency end.
Also in the pool and hot tub business word of mouth continues to be the best marketing plan you can have. We will continue to move forward, making sure we have customer satisfaction at the forefront of absolutely everything we do. Our word is our word – period!
